Welcome to denver a beautiful city nestled in the rocky mountains. The first Jewish minyan dates back to the 1860's, when they came for the gold rush. The Guggenheim family, benefactors of the Guggenheim Museum started their fortune in a Leadville mine a couple of hours from Denver.

An orthodox community remains in the West Colfax neighborhood, 35% of the 95,000 Jews live in the Hilltop area. There is basically only one fully kosher supermarket called east side kosher deli.
