Across the street is the Museum of Tolerance. The Breed Street Shul in East LA is one of the oldest shuls on the West Coast.The shul has been restored by the Jewish Historical Society of Southern California. There is no shortage of hotels in LA, but if you want to stay within walking distance of shuls here are a few:
Crown Plaza offers a special for Shabbos observant Jews (along with amenities like manual keys).
Residence Inn by Marriot Beverly Hills is similarly accommodating.
Carlyle Inn and Mr. C Beverly Hills are also in the neighborhood.
