The history of Yiddish LA goes back to 1841 Jacob Frankfort arrived. It now has the third largest Yiddish population in the US. Enjoy the many restaurants in LA - some say it has the best kosher restaurants in the country.
The Jewish communities are spread across the city. West hollywood also known as Hankock Park. Centered around the intersection of N. La Brea and Beverly ave. The Los Angeles Kollel is at that corner as well as 4 other shuls. Pico Robertson is another growing area. Pico Blvd has lots of kosher restaurants. Some of the other neighborhoods are :
